Hello. i am JAVAD ALIZADEH Iranian experienced / veteran cartoonist .i was born in 1953 , started to draw since 1970. Here i am going to show you my sample of works in different various geners. I have also intention to criticize and write about the large quantity of cartoon festivals and contests  in the world that have changed the critic role of cartoon into propaganda and entertaining role.

Fair play, Fair cartoon!

As Fifa insists on fair play in football matches, i think this rule ( fair cartoon!)and ethics and fairness should be observed between cartoonists who are more tolerant and democrate  than the other artists.what is your view? you can email me at below:

Why cartoonists are not rich?!

It is very funny. usually cartoonists enjoy the least income in comparison with the other visual arts artiists. Thus i wonder  why some people like me decide  to become cartoonist? For example I myself , In 1976   have passed the qualification tests to be employed as a translator with a good salary ( $1000) for an industrial  company but at that time i chose cartoon profession in the newspaper with a half salary ( $500)  and thenafter two years later I lost my job due to some political intolerances and unfairnesse and crisis in the office of the newspaper. However I was lucky enough  to be able to escape from the office to get survived!! Is  cartoon  worth this much trouble?

Are cartoonists happy people?

That is another paradoxical question. Their profession does not mean all the cartoonists  should be happy and ever cheerful people. They are like the others with this difference that they are more sensitive, thus they may suffer more than the others!!
